Lasts for: Up to 3 years but depends on your individual diet. We recommend top-ups of the whitening for 2/3 nights every 6 months.

Dentist-supervised (professional) teeth whitening is the most effective way to reduce signs of tooth discolouration and unveil a whiter tooth shade. Tooth discolouration can occur through frequently consuming teeth-staining food and drink, with ageing and genetics also being contributors.
Treatment involves the application of a whitening agent (administered using bespoke whitening trays), which breaks down the discoloured molecules within your tooth enamel. The whitening agent used in dental practices in the UK contains safe levels of hydrogen peroxide.
We always recommend enlisting the skills of a dentist for this treatment in order to make it risk-free. Any individual offering this treatment without medical credentials should be avoided.

Step 1: Consultation
Your whitening consultation involves a full examination of your teeth to check for signs of decay, severe enamel loss and gum disease. Should we find evidence of these conditions, we may need to put teeth whitening on hold whilst these are addressed (this is in the interests of your oral health).
Our team is highly trained in using professional teeth-whitening products to brighten our patients’ smiles here at Circ. They will go through the benefits of both Boutique and Enlighten with you during your consultation appointment. Once you have chosen to go ahead, digital impressions of your teeth are taken with our innovative Itero Scanner.
Step 2: Your whitening journey begins
Your whitening trays and gel are ready to be collected approximately 2 weeks after your consultation. Your dentist will show you how to apply the gel and encourage you to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns during the 7-14-day whitening period. The treatment time that elapses will depend on the desired outcome and how discoloured your teeth are at the outset.
Step 3: Maintaining the results
Once you are happy with the results, your dentist can provide you with top-up whitening gels to apply when your teeth begin to lose their newly white sparkle. We recommend using the top-up trays a maximum of twice a year.
