Emergency Care

Our caring dentists work efficiently to alleviate pain and other unpleasant symptoms when a dental emergency strikes.

We understand how distressing a dental emergency can be, and we treat our patients with the utmost compassion.

What is classed as a dental emergency?

Identifying a dental emergency can be tricky; for this reason, we recommend giving us a call if you are in any doubt (it’s always good to have peace of mind when it comes to your health).

Many dental emergencies are time-sensitive; the earlier you come in and see us after your symptoms begin, the better chance your dentist has of preserving your natural tooth and using the least invasive techniques possible to nurse you back to health.

Some classic examples of dental emergencies include:

  • Injuries that have caused swelling or bleeding within the mouth.
  • Broken or severely chipped teeth.
  • Severe toothache.
  • A tooth is newly loose or has fallen out.
  • Wisdom tooth pain.
  • Broken dentures or orthodontic appliances.

How do emergency dentist appointments work at Circ Dental?

We reserve a number of emergency appointments each day to accommodate patients who require emergency dental care. Once you have contacted our friendly reception team, they will be able to arrange for an emergency dentist to call you back and offer guidance.

During your appointment, your dentist will ask a series of questions to ascertain the source of your pain and prioritise getting you pain-free again.

If required, you may need to come in for restorative treatment later, though in many cases, composite fillings can be completed during your emergency appointment.
